What is Leading Mindfully?
You are a good person and you always mean well. But sometimes we get in our own way. My goal in life is to be as mindful as possible and let my experiences and the people around me, guide me in the right direction. Without silence and some alone time, that isn’t happening. I am going to go over various situations we all face in our day and different approaches to handling them.
Leadership is beyond having staff report to you, but I know you have heard that before. We have a major leadership crisis in the world. We need more people that are aware of their desires and truly care for others. Incorporating mindfulness at work will be a common practise over the next several years. You are ahead of curve by reading this article.
Are you aware enough to know what energy you are bringing to the world?
That is was mindfulness is all about. Being fully aware of the situation, how you feel, and then understanding how certain words and comments can change how others feel. Have you ever been in a boardroom and realized a comment made someone else upset? Did you do anything about it? A mindful person not only sees what happens but knows exactly what to do. That is you, but we are still learning.
My name is JP and I have been meditating daily for over 5 years now. I was quick to judge and it was holding back my career. What company wants a leader that doesn’t listen well and understand how everyone else feels. Since then, my life changed. I am a senior director for one largest tourist cities in North America.
